Star… my stuffed horse. Though my mother has never made me feel like I had to give her away.

I only have a few stuffed animals left (apart from my Beanie Baby collection that is in a box somewhere), but ain’t no way anyone can make me give them up. 

• a stuffed dog that my mom’s bf when I was 3 gave me (he has a little heart attached to him that says ‘I wuff you!’)
• a stuffed kitty I got for Christmas when I was 5 that purrs
• a stuffed kitty that was my great-grandmother’s; she gave it to me shortly before she died.
• a stuffed owl that my mom gave me when I went to college (our mascot was the owls)
• also a Raggedy Ann cushion-thing I put with all my animals; it was my mom’s

That may sound like a lot, but I fucking love stuffed animals. I had piles and piles of them when I was a kid.
